The CAPTURE10 team and network include experts with experience in a broad array of technologies, and functional experience in a range of disciplines, with a successful track record of navigating government policies, regulation, legislation, and securing contracts and financing.
Lawrence is an entrepreneur who possesses a unique combination of corporate and government experience in technology, regulation, strategy, and business, having worked on some of the world's most ambitious startups including Zipline, Palantir, SpaceX, Tesla Motors and Teledesic. His US government (USG) experience includes the White House Office of Business Liaison, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) and the U.S. House of Representatives. Lawrence received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with honors from Georgetown University. He is a three-time Ironman triathlete who is passionate about the importance of nutrition, exercise and health. He co-founded and serves on the Board of Eat REAL.
Catherine discovered the Executive Assistant career path at 15 and now holds over two decades of experience. She has assisted celebrities, politicians, and CEOs across a multitude of industries. She knows the MVP of every team is always one physical step behind the VIP and five mental steps ahead of everyone. Catherine is a graduate of The George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs in Washington, D.C., of Women’s Start-Up Lab Accelerator in Silicon Valley Class of 2015 and Rent the Runway & UBS' Project Entrepreneur Class of 2016. She serves as a host committee member on numerous national fundraising boards and advocates on behalf of ovarian cancer survivors nationally. She currently splits her time between her quiet hometown of Naples, Florida, and the vibrant start-up scene of Silicon Valley where she spends much of her time on a yoga mat.
Andrew Browning provides strategic counsel and consulting expertise to clients on unconventional shale energy development, Western lands oil shale, oil sands, arctic resources and offshore resources. With over 20 years of experience in both the private and government sectors, he was part of the founding of HBW Resources in 2008. Browning was previously Director of Government Relations at Methanex –the world’s largest methanol producer and distributor- and a White House appointee to the U.S. Department of Energy during the Clinton administration. He holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin.
Michael Zehr leads HBW Resources’ federal engagement activities in Washington. A seasoned legislative strategist, Zehr provides government relations and political counseling as well as direct advocacy and lobbying services for the firm’s clients. He has over a decade of experience as a senior policy advisor in the U.S. Senate where he advised Members on Energy, Environment, Agriculture, Tax, and Foreign Relations matters before Congress. He served on the staff of U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Tim Hutchinson (R-AR), George LeMieux (R-FL), and Mel Martinez (R-FL). Zehr holds an M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, an M.S. in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Virginia.
